Bill Upson is a Financial Advisor, and separately a Registered Representative of Royal Alliance, offering securities through Royal Alliance Associates, Inc., possessing Series 7, 24, 65 registrations and Insurance Licenses. He is a member of the Million Dollar Round Table* and has provided insurance and investment solutions since 1982. Bill has been a Top of the Table producer for the past nine years in a row, and has been a featured speaker at TOT conferences. His most recent speech to the Top of the Table occurred in October 2004 in Naples, FL. He is also the author of the book Long Term Care . . . Alternatives and Solutions, and co-author of the book Orderly Affairs: Pathways to Financial Freedom for Everyone. Bill is a member of Ed Slott’s Elite IRA Advisor Group**TM and was the guest IRA expert in Ed Slott’s IRA Advisor newsletter of October 2005 and also in December 2010.

Bill founded Strategic Asset Management Group in 1986. His business focus is in the areas of income and estate tax planning for high net worth individuals, successful professionals, business owners, and retirees. In dealing with his clients, he seeks to reduce their individual and corporate income taxes, as well as their estate taxes. This focus increases net worth, reduces personal tax liability, and increases income on a tax-favored or tax-free basis.

Bill has also trained over 600 CPA's in proper LTC and estate planning as an educator at their yearly meetings in California and trained over 100 FPA members in comparable venues. Bill has spoken as a trainer on LTC to numerous local NAIFA chapters, and spoken as the keynote motivational speaker at the Washington State, Central California and Hawaii NAIFA conventions. He has trained CLU's and ChFC's, as well as insurance agents, financial representatives, brokers, bankers, and spoken before employees and managers of top 500 US corporations.
